Today's post is for the impatient - aka - me. I have just returned from a trip to Eurardy Bush Reserve doing a wildlife census and have more than 2500 photos to sort (that 16gig CF card might have been a mistake :) I stopped at Bee-keepers Nature Reserve just south of Dongara while travelling up the West Aus coast. This reserve is massive focus of floral diversity even compared to the biodiversity hotspot that the entire south-west corner is, but the thing that caught my eye was these Crested pigeons continually coming back to a section of road edge. Obviously some grain had been spilt from a truck passing through, neatly illustrating the invasive weed threats every part of every country continually faces.
