Late post for yesterday - oops! After spending all day punting through the bush taking photos yesterday, and not even making it home. I get in this morning, step off the bike and am presented with a mass of Red-tailed Black Cockatoos in the jarrah in our front yard, and I get better wildlife opportunities than the entire previous day. I posted a pic of Henry, Kanyana's resident red-tailed black the other day, and promised I would show you one of their magnificent tails at some point. The tiger-stripes mark her as a female. I wonder if this classifies as bird-porn?

Spectacular bird! Have been checking your site daily for quite some time now and continue to enjoy it...Keep up the painting! You have a good eye. Don't get discouraged when it gets hard; just keep going. I look forward to seeing a post of an acrylic one of these days...

Thanks for all your comments - I really appreciate them. And Judith, thanks superheaps for the painting encouragement. Maintaining my enthusiasm will be the biggest challenge. I enjoy it a lot, but it is easy to get discouraged when you struggle to get the look you were hoping for.
