Again, a lot of stylisation in the 'darkroom' here. Dunno if this represents my life or mental state at the moment. The trees are paperbark; wonderful expressive trees that grow near water courses.
Melaleuca raphiophylla swamp paperbark, used to be found everywhere in Perth. Sadly, as you more than most know, wetland habitat that caters to the fluctuating groundwater needs of paperbarks (and resultant bioregons) are being erased.

Beautiful tones and great composition. Amazing structures. I don't fully get the technique you used, but like it, leads my eyes around the elements the way you decided.
Thanks for the comments. Good to hear from you again Steven. They are being erased en masse, but it is good to see remants getting higher and higher priority. I'm starting to notice a lot of little replanting efforts popping up here and there.
