Other photographers have called this style of collage a tryptic. I'm not sure about that because I can't see what it has to do with digestive enzymes, but I do know that the variety of these crazy native wildflowers works well as a panel of three images in my favoured 16:9 format.

    In hungarian (probably from the same latin origin?) we call it triptichon, three canvas in one. Good idea, my only critisism is that I would have probably match them differently, eg: choose by texture (eg: 1-5-9; 2-6-8; 3-4-?7), but that choice might miss other aspects that I didn't recognize due to my lack of knowledge about this creatures.

    Triptych is the word you're looking for.

    Yes! A Triptych generally referrs to a three panneled painting. Often used behind alters in places of worship. Actually, if you're trying to worship creation this might make a good alter backdrop.
